Is there away to remove MS IE off of a computer without harming the computer and then use the download of IE6SETUP.EXE to re-install it?

If someone knows the answer to this and let me know how, I would greatly appreciate it.

Before un-installing i would copy the download to a floppy or CD-RW then remove it then install it again. If you are using windows xp go into you add/remove programs in your control panel then click on windows set-up and remove you IE then put in your disk and install IE and to have a back up if you don't feel comfortable download Netscape so you have a back up browser
