My brother is an idiot and decided to install a hacked version of Halo 2 on my computer (vista)

He replaced the mf.dll file from system32 with the hack, and now Windows Media Player will not work.

I'm wondering if that dll is the same for all vista computers.

Should be, especially if they have the same service pack installed. Try copying 'mf.dll' from another Vista computer.

Edit: Resolved I got one of my friends to send it, it works. Sweet. My brother is never touching my PC again.
