Messenger service

Ok, I'm at a friends house and he's getting the Messenger service crap from people about Fatal error's blah blah blah, and the website to visit to fix their problems. I can't remember off hand what to go in and edit to shut the messenger service off.

Simple you update your copy of windows and the messages go away. If you wish to not update your system you can go to msconfig in the run menu and disable the messenger service.
