messages on shut down

hi guys hope someone can help , i have recently started getting messages during shut down saying playing log off music, machine group policies finished, i have no idea what i have done to start them and would like to know how to turn them off!

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. Type gpedit.msc, and then click OK.
3. Browse to Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System.
4. Double-click Verbose vs normal status messages, and then click Disable.

Run the following command at a command prompt:
secedit /refreshpolicy machine_policy /enforce
