Default menu bar has disappeared!

my menu bar in windows explorer and internet explorer has disappeared. Can anyone help me get it back? This is Windows 98SE

Well you should be able to right a blank spot there and see which ones are checked, by menu bar, are you referring too the line with the file edit view, etc? If that is the case, hit f11 and see if it comes back for ya.

The "view" nav at top will also let you select what tool bars you want to see.

Does the "lock the toobars" function keep you from removing or rearranging them?

it wasn't the toolbar, it was the menu bar (file, edit, view, etc), anyway hitting F11 took care of the problem!
