Media player icon disappeared???

My WMP icon disappeared off my desktop on my desktop and laptop about 5 min ago? I can't get it back either? I can go into my music file and double click it to play and it'll bring WMP back up but I can't get the icon back? I was just sitting here and I noticed my screen blank and then the icon was gone, about a min after that my laptop did the same. Help.

Go to C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player

It's there, the file is call wmplayer, left click create shortcut then cut and paste it onto your desktop.

Nadda, I've clicked on every icon in the file.

Probably got corrupted, you should reinstall it http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/download/download.aspx

That's what I was gonna do, just hoped it didn't come to that.

you can reinstall it thru add/remove, add/remove windows components
