Mc Afee Internet Security

Can't seem to get trought to Mc Affee's help desk so I need to ask the question here: what sorts of utlity software will not interfeer with the workings of Mc Afee Internet Security?

Mind elaborating a bit? What kind of 'utility' software are you talking about? Registry cleaners? Temp cleaners? Defrag programs? What?

Also, most everybody here will agree McAfee is crap and would suggest to dump it and get a better/free alternative.

You're just going to have to do a trial and error basis IMO. Install the utilities and if they are flagged by McAfee you can always allow that program to run. Same with web browser addons, if McAfee sees it as a virus you can always allow that program to run through the McAfee options.

I use McAfee on my laptop (that i'm no right now) and it works fine for me. I wouldn't pay for it, but I get it free b/c of Scottrade. IMO it isn't as bad as people make it seem, gets the job done for me.
