Default MaxiVista for dual monitor setup?

DISCLAIMER: I dont know exactly which forum to put this in, so feel free to move it to the correct forum.

I am trying the MaxiVista program right now, and i love it, only one problem.

my main goal with this is to be able to use dual-screen for WoW on my laptop (connected to my main PC)

for those unacquainted with the program, it is basically a software program that makes another computer operate as a second monitor by sending display info across a wireless network (though i assume it works for USB and other connections too).

My problem is this: I cant get my nVidia card to recognize the second monitor, and World of Warcraft, when connected to a dual-monitor system, is supposed to offer larger resolutions, such as 2048x768 (2x 1024x768), to accomodate using both screens, but it doesnt.

anyone know a way to get my main computer to recognize my laptop as a second monitor? or will it never work and i just need to purchase a second monitor.

And above all else this, to thine own self be true.
