Hi,

I have drive name:Matshita.
The driver name is:matshita dvd-ram uj-811

I have been using Roxio and I moved to Nero and then all the problems start...

The computer act like I don't have a CD/DVD drive!

I have the same drive. It worked fine one day and the next it would not read any disc. None. After quite a bit of research I have found that many people are having the same issue. They are also at a lack of any real solution. Same people have been able to clean contacts to make it work. Others say if a certain point on the cover is pushed while it is reading a CD it will work. There is no support available from any companies involved. I fear we have been duped into buying a lousy drive. Sorry.
