Default Matrox graphics card question

I have a question.

I just bought a used Matrox Millinium card off of ebay,
when I installed the card in my system windows XP found it and put in its own driver for the video card, the thing is I don't like how the screen resolution is for my PC: 800x600 32bit only.
If I try to increase the resolution to 1024x786 32 bit it will automatically go back to 16bit for that resolution.
I have tried all freaking night to find some updated drivers for this card but I'm not having any luck.... some matrox utilities will automatically detect the card as unknown matrox card and will refuse to install is there any chance that I can find someway of updating the graphics card or do I need to call matrox and see if they could help ? I have attached a image of graphics cards information.
