Default In the market for a new Notebook?

I am in the market for my first notebook. I need one that is great for webpage design but not too expensive. I won't be doing too much gaming but maybe a little. I was told that I need to shoot for 512 ddr and a M processor. What companies would be good and what one do I need to stay away from.

Send a message via AIM to Win2kpatcher

Our company purchases IBM thinkpads all the time. I just set up a couple of new ones that were amazing! Very slim yet very powerful and it ran very quick with 1GB RAM and the M processor@ 2.0 GHZ if I recall. Might want to look into the IBM thinkpad series as there tech support is really good.

notebooks with the centrino product badge use intel pentium M processor. they are very expensive. you should get a pentium 4 2.2Ghz-3.2Ghz notebook for something high performance and affordable.
