Many Problems Driving Me Crazy

Ok, I am having quite a few problems right now with my computer, I am assuming they are all a result of the same thing. ALL of these problems happen ONLY when I am on the internet.

First, some info on the computer. It is a Gateway that I just bought last December. It is a P4 3.2GHz HT. 512MB RAM with windows XP media Center Edition. I have dial-up internet (I know it sucks, live in the country and that pretty much all I have access too unless I decideto spend a fortune but I won't)

The first thing that is going on is many programs won't work while I am connected to the internet. This includes Microsoft Office and some others. Some of them will start up, like office, but will not respond. As soon as I disconnect from the internet they work just fine.

Secondly, anything connected to the computer after connecting to the internet, like my iPod, Flash drive, scanner or printer will not be recgonized. If I connect or turn them on before going on the internet they will work just fine. As so as I disconnect they will work just like normal.

Next when I am online and I disconnect for some reson and try to sign back on I can't. It will say Error 50 the device is allready connected, even thoguh i'm not connected. If I restart I can go on just fine.

Another thing is when I am browsing websites or on AIM, the browser or AIM will just freeze up completley and not respond, If I give it 10 to 20 minutes they will work just fine again.

I really don't understand this at all. I have ran CCleaner, Spybot, ad aware and I have Macafee internet security. I'll post a HJ This log below all this also. I would really appreciate any help you guys can give me becasue this is driving me crazy. Gateway has no idea what is going on and I'm not paying Microsoft for support so I really hope you guys can help. Thanks.

First problem: Reinstall your modem drivers. Worst comes to worst; install a new PCI modem.

As far as watching videos on AIM, i didn't know that you could do that on dial-up.

Your PC might have spyware on it; do a scan.

I allready re-installed my modem drives with no luck, I didn't say i was watching videos on AIM just using the messangers.

Like I also said I used spybot and ad aware before and fixed everything.
