Make XP look like Vista

I've done a lot of searching, but can't really find anything.

Basically I want to make my XP look like Vista, for free.

I had tried Vista Transformation Pack, but it didn't work.

Also I read about WindowsBlinds, but it looks like it costs...

Suggestions?

Windowsblinds will be your best bet. Can also get TrueTransparency and get some skins from Deviantart.com that work with it.

I prefer style xp to windows blinds as it uses window's built in tools allowing it to use no resources.

Windowsblinds does not use resources since version 5. That is a common misconception now. It starts up with Windows and replaces the uxtheme.dll and starts up 1 of its own files to use transparency. There is no process running in the task manager at ALL anymore. They took that out with Version 5 and kept it going like that with version 6.

I could, but I'm at a university and they highly monitor usage... and I promised myself that I would not install any "Mr. Torrence" software on my new computer.
