Default lots of crashing.

so i recently recovered a computer that had a severe virus on it. actually i reformatted the hard drive. so a fresh copy of XP is on the machine. but every once in a while both my internet browsers and games crash. sometimes as soon as i open them up again they'll immediately crash when i go anywhere or do anything. the computer also restarted once in mid installation of a program. this has never happened before. between the 3 computers in my house ive reformatted them mulitple times and this being a a newer hard drive that's only been reformatted about 3 times in its life.

i didnt know if this was a hardware related problem or not.

Check the temps and run a memtest.Might be an overheating of memory problem...
