Default looking for a download program

I am looking for a program that will allow me to download iso files from ftp and http sites and restart from where I left off if the connection gets interupted. I keep trying to download but when I get kicked off I have to start over which means that I will never be able to finish it. Know of one that will do?

yes...some want a password and some don't...many just want an anonymous login:
you can use the following

username: anonymous or guest
pass: nothing or guest or anonymous
