Default Logon

Ive got a problem with logging on. Usually when my computer starts up it goes into my user account and everything is fine.

Now when my computer starts up it goes to the logon screen. I have only one user account on this computer. I want to know how i can make it automatically log on, without going through the logon screen?

thanks in advance

you might have installed the .net framework or something like Artisan which creates new user accounts so it now appears with a logon screen.

go to start>run and type user controlpassword2 or controlpassword2

when the screen appears select your usual logon name from the list and there should be a check box saying always login or something check it.

Also you could go to control panel then user accounts and there might be some setting in there for auto logon..cant remember though.

or

Open TweakUI (Click Start, Programs, Powertoys for Windows XP). Expand the Logon branch, and click Autologon. Turn on the "Log on automatically at......" option, type your username and password, and click Ok.

or

download the latest SP for .net 1.1
