The log in dialog box won't appear in microsoft access 2007 and it appears in access 2000 and i don't have the permission whenever i want to edit something in the database. I have the system.mdw and everything in correct place but is the system.mdw or the dialog box discontinued? btw the dialog box will pop up when you open the database in access 2000 and won't allow you to see anything unless you enter valid username and password but access 2007 will allow you to read only which is a bit annoying...
