ok, but i wanted to use it in an e mail, im using outlook express and dont have that http button, should be simple i know?

Right click inside your new mail message
click hyperlink

Up top add the text you want it to read, which would be CNN

On the bottom type www.cnn.com

then send

phew ive done it at last, had to create the hyperlink CNN then right click on that and change properties to web address if that makes sense, think im prob still doing it wrong way but it works!
