Default Which Linux?

I am thinking about playing with another flavor of Linux besides RH (even though it kicks major bootie). I am thinking about Gentoo, but I am open to any if you have a good one that I should try.

So for those of you that use Linux, what "flava" should I try next?

I have just gottent into Gentoo myself. I have to tell you, I am very impressed by it.

The install took quite some time because you have to compile everything yourself, but I learned alot and the instructions on www.gentoo.org were excellent. The forums there are great as well and provide alot of help.

I just read through the instructions on www.gentoo.org and I have to say that they are very detailed, that alone says alot.
