LimeWire is crashing - any solution?

Well, first, Limewire is illegial to use, the network was shut down, further discussion of this will be violating forum rules.
This is the FIRST thing you see on the limewire page.

LimeWire is under a court order dated October 26, 2010 to stop distributing the LimeWire software. A copy of the injunction can be found here**.
