Default licenseing

My friend lost everything he had for Microsoft VB6.0. Now he wants to reformat his PC. Is there a place in the registry where his license number is stored so he can reinstall and be legit.

Yes. Belarc should show him the serials for VB6. I know that Belarc shows serials for Windows and Office. I am almost sure it would show VB as well. Best answer. Try it wont hurt anything.

If it doesn't, go to MajorGeeks.com - Download Freeware and Shareware Computer Utilities. and do a search for keyfinders. There are loads of them available... surely one will pull it out for you.
