Legal way of applying hotfixes + tools + documentation

you said too many word in that last post for me to read. Anyway, everybody else slipstream sp2 and the latest hotfixes into their XP install, including corperations. MS is look for people who pirate windows, not people who update it.

i know this? i never said otherwise, however i cant walk into to a government building with a pitch to build a slipstreamed cd on the basis of that statement? I need to be able to prove that it is legally allowed to do this otherwise they will not allow this disc to be built. Currently we waite man hours rebooting, updating, rebooting, updating, rebooting updating...... i want to eradicate this completely but i cant as the EULA stops me from doing this? Personally i know as well as you do that microsoft wont give a shit, but that cant be the only proof i walk in there with. i need a statement saying its ok to create your own copy of winxp with hotfixes installed. Ill contact microsoft and see what they say.
