Laptop turning off when booting or trying to install windows

Hi,

I'm facing a problem on my Fujitsu siemens laptop....when i try to install windows, i boot from the CD Rom, but after a few seconds from gathering the required files for installation, the laptop turns off by itself!! its plugged in so its not a battery probelm... The same thing happens now if i try to boot through windows normally...the computer turns off before i even get the chance to enter my username and password!!!

any ideas??

That once happened to me... It was a really old computer so I just ditched it. Your not alone buddy.... Im curious as to what happened to that computer.
