i have a toshiba a15s127 laptop that the only way i can get any data to it is by floppy, right now there are 3 partitions 1 with linux, 1 with win 98, and 1 with win 2000, the problem is that the windows 2000 was installed with the hard drive in another laptop, and none of the drivers from the other laptop work with this one, so we need to run the repair console off of the windows 2000 cd, we have a usb cd-rom, but it cant be used in win 98, because we dont have the drivers for it, and we dont have the drivers for the floppy drive in win98, long story short our only option is to get the drivers for the usb cd-rom onto a bootable win98 floppy, and run the repair console from the win 2000 cd, ayone know how to get the drivers for the cd-rom onto the floppy? or have anoher solution? and no, the network card drivers are not loaded in win 98

Have you tried putting the drivers onto a flash drive?

If you have a USB port, then you should be able to use one.

flash drives are not autodetected in win98 so you have to have drivers, and win98 is the only working pc-based OS on the hard drive
