Labtec Headset Sucks! plz Read i have problems

Hello i have a Labtec Headset Stereo .. and when i use it For UT2004 and want to speek no 1 can hear me .. but when i play music from WMP ( Windows Media Player ) i hold down talk button and they can hear it.. y is it that my mic can only pickup sounds when i use Windows Media player ... what do i need to do

im guessing you are using the audio part of msn messenger, correct?

change the msn messenger options to allow it to recognize the microphone.
