Does anyone have an idea as to how I can create a keystroke that will give me the date & Time?

I have a program set up that will insert pre-defined keystrokes.

It would save a LOT of time....I know in excell you can do it by going 'CTR + ;'

Cheers!

Scratch that...I found a new Keystroke Program that does it.
Coolio

Why would you need it? isnt the clock display'd at the bottem right?... no offence just woundering now :)

for my work, when I make my notes (which i do VERY often) - i need to time stamp the time I make the note.

I am a person that likes to make thing efficent.

say for example it takes me 5 seconds to look at the time and then type it, where as it would take me 1 second to hit the keystroke.

thats 4 seconds.

say I make 30 notes an hour.

thats 2 minutes saved.

say I work an 8 hour shift

thats 16 minutes saved.

Say I work 5 days a week

thats 80 minutes saved...

See where im going here?

:p

"I am a person that likes to make thing efficent."

You mean, efficient like taking the 's' out of sentences? :)

Anyway...There should be a macro laying around the Excel sight for that. One that doesn't even require keystrokes. You could try there.

do you want to know how many seconds you can save from not typing in that S!!!

Well let me think...

im JK :D
