I have a program set up that will insert pre-defined keystrokes. It would save a LOT of time....I know in excell you can do it by going 'CTR + ;' Cheers!

A ADZ Fully Optimized Messages 2,231 Jul 29, 2004 #4 for my work, when I make my notes (which i do VERY often) - i need to time stamp the time I make the note. I am a person that likes to make thing efficent. say for example it takes me 5 seconds to look at the time and then type it, where as it would take me 1 second to hit the keystroke. thats 4 seconds. say I make 30 notes an hour. thats 2 minutes saved. say I work an 8 hour shift thats 16 minutes saved. Say I work 5 days a week thats 80 minutes saved... See where im going here?

Anyway...There should be a macro laying around the Excel sight for that. One that doesn't even require keystrokes. You could try there.
