Default Keeps updating

Well i got vista to start.. it sais I have 16 updates to get and I installed them and rebooted.. then it said windows was up to date but now it sais theres 16 updates again.. its done this many times and ive updated it every day for the past week with the same thing

anyone =/

oh I think this is why my pc was always rebooting which I stated in the other topic, it updates then it starts a countdown to reboot

Format and install XP
or turn off automatic updates.
God i hope i dont have as many problems as everyone else when i get vista.

Definitely turn off automatic updates. You can manually check for updates yourself. See if that helps anything.

Try to do Upates manually and check. When it is installed manually, it may nstall iut properly and aviod this repeating

Under my update history its simply saying that the updates have failed
