after you get it the way you want it, ghost it to a dvd(s)

I actually restore it from a drive image 7 image. I restore it to just xp and the drivers and the update rollup pack for windows media center with no programs

sounds like you have a plan

i learned that the hard way , my neice and nephew infect their pc so badly i just re -image from a ghost image, and in 15-20 minutes the pc is ready for them.

can you boot drive image 7 from a floppy ?

not that I know of. it can boot from cd though. powerquest drive image 7 is norton's ghost (symantec bought them out). but ghost don't work as good.
