Helllo, i just formatted this Acer Aspire pc and now and again the comp will freeze for a second like the mouse cursor will freeze? any idea what this might be?

How can we know? You gave us no information at all.
What was the issues before? What is it doing now? Does it freeze for a second and then start to work? Have you left it go for more than a minute to see if it comes back? Have you updated all your drivers, BIOS and everything else? What OS are you running?
We might need a bit more information than your system freezes.

XP Professional, and yes it does freeze for a second then start to work.. it does randomly come back, all drivers are up to date.

Checked to ensure that nothing is eating CPU cycle time?
Make sure that all heatsinks are on firmly? See a few times where overheating was the cause of an issue similar to what you are seeing.
