Default IRC Clients

I need a really specific IRC client. One that is low on resources, preferably a single .exe and one that will let me connect to a server and join a specific channel via command line parameters. Is there any such client in existence, or does anyone know of anything similar? Thanks!

mIRC is good, but I need something that will auto connect to a server and channel at startup

Have you tried to change the settings on mIRC? Are you even sure there is a IRC client applicaiton out there that can do what you want?

poedsoft might have what you are looking for. But you want a really specific client. You might have to just find someone to create it for you. I dont think there is any IRC client out there that can do what you want. mIRC might be your best option.

Thanks for all your help Makaveli. Do you happen to know if there is some way to make mIRC connect to a server and channel automatically at startup?

Off hand no. I will take a look at it and see if there is a way to do it and get back to you.
