Once again I am asking another question on behalf of some one else.

The partition is NTFS.

What is happening exactly? Is this a partition that you are trying to install an OS on? Or this partition just a spare storage drive that you can see in My Computer, but cant access? Need some more background to troubleshoot the issue properly.
