Internet Problems

Im havin problems with my internet, firstly, for the past few months whilst on various internet browsers, my pc has been crashing. It doesn't give any resaons, my pc just stops and i have to turn it off via the case.

HELP! Cos its insanely annoying

Secondly......

My internet has suddenly become really slow, (It took about 5 mins to get from techforums.net to techforums.net/pc), i havent changed anything...

Btw, im running xp home service pack 3, but it started when i had SP2

You need to run a virus scan with updated definitions and run a spyware scan also.

Then do general maintenance things like disk cleanup, disk defrag, etc.

I do maintenance really often, at least once a week, and my spyware/anti virus has found nothing

Check to ensure this isn't an ISP issue. Google speakeasy speed test and test your connection speed.

Download this:

|MG| HijackThis 1.99.1

Choose the scan and save log option, a log should appear on a notepad file, once it has copy and paste it to here:

HijackThis Logs (analyze) - Computer Forums

Look at the tutorial if it helps, then once you've posted that up a security mod will tell you which stuff to kill etc.
