What is this harassing NewDotNet monster that made reformat my hard drive? Whenever I unistall it my browser cant access any webpage. its the most disgusting program (spyware) ive ever encountered. wish they would ban it 4ever!! grrrr

tell me about it. i think newdotnet hit a lot of people. Although, I have a pritty intense cleaning system on my computer now that ensures i do not have those problems again.

1 - Spybot s&D - Update patches then run.
2 - Ad-Aware - Update patches then run.
3 - Reg Scrub XP
4 - Windows Cleaner
5 - Norton System works & Antivirus.

Had a hard time stopping newdotnet from starting up every time I started my computer. I am not really sure just what I did to stop it.

lol, ADZ that is a lil more then a "a pritty intense" cleaning system... thats like Clean 2 the extreme... haha

I found out how to get rid of this demonic program.


1. To ensure proper removal. Run msconfig then on the startup tab deselect newdotnet (this also applies to other demonic spywares and adwares)

2. Download LSP fix from www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

3. Uninstall newdotnet from the add/uninstall programs in the control panel.

4. Run LSP fix to fix corrupted Winsocket files.

Anti-spywares and anti-adwares especially adaware cannot help in my situation.

(This method successfully got rid of newdotnet in my PC)
