I'm currently pounded with problems with my Windows 2000. After I downloaded Mozilla Firefox, my Internet Explorer disappeared or something strange happened. Now, when I go to "My Computer" and type in the url, a page saying "The Page not found" shows up.

When did I notice this problem?

This occurred on the front page of Yahoo! News. I clicked on a video link and there would be no video being displayed. All there is is a Play button, which I clicked numerous times and the video did not play. So I right-clicked to find the error. It was "Active X was not found" or something close to it. I go to Mozilla's homepage and found a forum on how to, I believe, turn on Active X. I can't download the file, so I looked at my options. So, I decided to come back to IE for the video.

May you please help me?

Sorry if I bothered you...

Thanks,
The Troubleshooter (seriously)

P.S. I'm new

welcome. Try uninstalling firefox and reinstalling and see if that helps.
