Internet Connection Problem

I've got a problem with my internet conection, I can't stay online for more than 5 minutes, its not from my ISP, its not the modem, 'cos it works perfectly on my other pc. Reloaded windows xp professional, drivers etc.

Can any help me with this problem please.

What does it do? Is there some type of error message?
I'd tell you to look at your modem contol panel settings, but i've assumed you've tried that allready. It's probably your ISP. Try searching yourISP's control panels or Preferences.

Are both computers using the same phone cord / jack when you're testing? It could very easily be a damanged phone cord.
