internet boost!!!

heya,

when i turn my computer on and it loads up all my things, i have noticed that it is quite slow at bringing up the icons down at the bottom of my screen! especially the broadband one! i only have 4 but i didnt no if there was a tweak or something that would make it faster. i have done the msconfig thing and that helped ! but it is not like it is a slow computer i only bought it a month ago, it is 2 x 2 Dual core amd processor 1Gb ram! so i dont no whjy it is quite slow!
please suggest things lol!

I dont think hes infected or anything, he only just got the pc!?

Maybe your expecting too much? how long does it take from pressing the power button upto the point where windows is fully loaded and ready to go? time it.

from when i push the power button to when it is full loaded it takes 55 seconds is that good? bad? i dont no!!
