Default Internal power error

when i startup my computer, I immediately get a blue screen that says "Internal Power Error" and a lot of numbers that and then it restarted. it then asked me if i want to boot into safe mode, safe mode with networking, last known good. i chose safe mode and i get the same problem. i chose the other options and still got that error.

so i finally use my vista cd and used system restore. everything works fine now but anyone knows what causes that internal power error? This happened after i installed microsoft virtual pc 2007 and vmware player. My computer is a new build bout 2 months.

Default Re: Internal power error

It could be a few things like power policy manager experienced a fatal error, dying CMOS battery, etc. This problem may come back to watch out for it
