Found this while reading an article about the Gigabyte i-RAM on Anandtech:

http://www.anandtech.com/storage/showdoc.aspx?i=2480&p=6

In some previous threads there have been discussions about whether or not performance would go up or down when using faster or slower drives for the pagefile, or disabling the page file and adding more memory, or any combination of those.

Basically, the Gigabyte i-RAM is a device that lets you use RAM sticks as a virtual SATA hard drive.

I guess it kind of points out that the whole "to page or not to page" argument is pointless. :D
