I keep getting an error when trying to install some programs, although the programs are different, the error code is always the same, i've attached a screenshot of the error with details expanded. the line that is missing is also the first part of the error message, so its all there. I've formatted to try and get rid of it, a quick format to NTFS or FAT doesn't help at all. a full format did fix it for a while the first time, but since then even after a full format it comes back after a little while, sometimes a day, sometimes a few minutes.
I've tried different CD's of windows, one without SP2 integrated as well. each time it has stil happened and as far as i can tell, it isn't a problem one program is giving me, it can happen after I install anything, not just one specific program.
i've run out of ideas, can anyone help me?
