Installing XP from a second hdd?

Eric is right. The hardware profiles will not match and that will cause you all sorts of grief upon boot. If it even boots.

Very rarely can a repair install be done to correct this issue. But that can lead to other issues. Your best bet is to do a fresh install on the other PC.

Not to mention it violates the Windows TOS and EULA.

thanks for the info guys :) here's another question, when I need to burn a bootable cd do I burn the .iso to the cd or do I extract the files and burn those?
