Default Installing XP Media Centre 2005 with Dell Disk

This post is for a freind NOT ME

anyway: He has just built a new PC, he wants to install an OS but has no disk, he wants to use the XP Media Center 2005 disk which came with his DELL lol and he is wondering whether it will work on his new build, his questions are: "Will it let me install it as its a Dell CD?"
"If it does install will the other computer become "de-activated"?"
and he quotes "make sure you say its a legitimate disk"

that is all

he need a serial to install it. he wouldn't need a serial if it was a dell computer. the disc will install on all dell machine and be legit with no activation
