installing winxp

hey all
This is my first time installing winxp i just didnt want to pay anyone to do it.
The laptop previously had ubuntu 9.04
I installed it but the product key didnt work now i have 30days im not sure what to do about it because i know im typing in the right product key
Also about the drivers i checked device manager and noticed that there where drivers that werent installed like
-Ethernet Controller
-Mass storage Controller
-Multimedia Audio Controller
-Network Controller
-PCI Modem
-Video Controller
-Video Controller (VGA Compatible)

ive checked on the dell website im not really sure which ones to grab im lost here.

I have 2gb of ram and 1.60ghz they have went down to 1.98gb ram and 1.58ghz

help will be greatly apprecieted thanks in advance

The copy of WinXP must have been from another machine and it cant be used to activate anymore. So you will have to buy a new copy.

The drivers can only be obtained from teh PC Manufacturer's website. If they dont have XP Drivers, your out of luck. As they were not made for that machine.
