When i first built my computer 2 months or so ago, i tried unsuccessfully at installing winxp 64-bit.

Here is my problem:

I go through and do the normal installation, but when it comes to the end, there is approx 2 min left in the installation when a blue screen comes up that does a physical memory dump.

Is it me doing something wrong during the installation (which i dont believe it is because i have installed regular winxp over 100 times without having any problems) or is it a hardware problem, or could it be a bad CD that i am using?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try doing a scandisk then re-do the install. make sure the CD isent scratched or anything. The cd could be damaged but i dunno. If u have installed it 100 other times then it should install.
