Installing windows 7 ultimate error

hey guys, i just finished building my new system the other day, and am now currently trying to install windows 7 and every time i try it just pauses on the "Expanding Windows Files (0%)..." for about five minutes then a message pops up saying some **** about being corrupt and error code : 0x80070017. Any help appreciated guys.

Either your disc is bad, or your disc drive is going bad.

-If it's an ISO file you downloaded from microsoft that you burned to disc, try burning again at a slower speed.
-If that doesn't work, try making a bootable flash drive with the media and boot off of the flash drive to install.
-If it still fails, then re-download the media.
-If it wasn't a download, then contact the place you bought it from and see if you can get a replacement disc (or call MS and try to get a disc if you bought it at a store that won't have replacement discs).
