Don't really recommend AVG nowdays - go with Avira or Avast.

The built in Task Manager / Resource Monitor is really good now though.

Avast, Adobe reader, Adobe flash, java, Xirrus Wi-Fi Monitor Gadget (and Xirrus wifi monitor software), Ad blocker plus, teamviewer.

Prob more, but cant think of top of my head

I am go try Avira and see how it is.

I have found one problem, the pop up you get when installing programs asking if you allow it.
I set it to not dim my screen and the box would not pop up when I needed to allow programs installing, so I would have my system freeze up and have to power off the system any ideas on how to fix ?

ad blocker plus? is that extension or is that a program it self?

Yes it's an extension.

I recommend uBlock Origin over Ad Block Plus, though. Uses less resources.

its a plugin to stop ads showing on web pages.. I'd still install flash as sometimes you need to use IE if chrome is having issues working with a website.
