I'm having some problems installing windows. When I try to install after the drives have been formatted and it starts to copy files it always fails to find a file called idecoi.dll. I am trying to install windows on 2 fresh western digital 80gb RAID 0 hard drives. I select the appropriate RAID drivers when it prompt me to.
I'm wondering if maybe thr problem lies in the CD I'm using. It's a windows reinstallation CD from a Dell computer. Can you use reinstallation CD's from companies like Dell or Alienware to install windows and be fine? Or is that what is probably causing my problem?
