Default installing new harddisk

Just bought a new harddisk and realised that it is not fdisk and formated.

I am using XP Pro. How do I fdisk and format the new harddisk?

brand new harddrives dont come fdisk.
use the floppy disk that came with the drive.if it didn't come with one,you can download it from their web site.

I am actually adding the new HD to my computer that runs XP Pro. Is there a way the XP-Pro can fdisk and format it?

Thanks pple. I've got it

All I need to do is in XP Pro --> run --> diskmgmt.msc
a wizard will appear
right click on the new HD and select partition.
After that the wizard will more or less takes over.

Cheers
