Installing Fonts in Windows XP Home Edition

I just wanted to install and font that i got off the internet and it gave me this message:

The JANESVILLE.OFT file is currently being used and cannot be replaced.
Wait untill windows is finished using the file, and then try again.

I extracted both of the files and no one is logged on except me. What does this me and how can i install that font?
