I learned my mp3 player isn't compatable with windows XP so instead of buying a new one right away I figured I'd just install 98. I'm not a computer genius so I can't figure out how to get into MS-DOS on start-up. I created a start-up disk but for some reason I can't get into my F:\ drive (my cd-rom) to get into startup.

You don't have the CDrom drivers configured. You need to get mscdex.com and one of the universal CD driver disks. Also, you are going to need to format you system with fat32 cause there is a good chance you are using NTFS, and 98 won't like that...

I guess I'll just buy a new mp3 player. I have a partition on my brives one drive is blank, I could just load it on that.
