Default Installed OS on E: Drive

Windows XP Installed the OS and named my Hard Drive e: and my Zip Drive c:

Will this cause any problems?

just make sure the boot sequence in your bios reads from drive e: first.

One source of a problem is when a software developer has hard coded drive c: to locate system information. Perhaps there are other reasons and others may contribute to the question.

It's fine. As long as your BIOS knows to load the O/S from e:

You can assign any letter to a hard disk, it doesn't matter.
